description
People may think museum work is all about arranging and caring for objects, or that it's dry and dusty, or even that there is a mysterious world ' behind the scenes at the museum'. What is it really like? Here, seven museum professionals from Reading University's Museum of English Rural Life talk about their day-to-day work, their career paths and what motivates them. This resource has been created as part of the JISC funded project Object Based Learning for Higher Education (OBL4HE) - a project to create a range of online educational resources for university teachers and students based around the use of museum collections and archival material for enhancing learning. To search for more of the resources created in this project, please search for the key word OBL4HE.
