In meetings between many sites (e.g. more than five) or that involve new or complex collaborative technologies, there is often a Node Operator who is present throughout the whole meeting. This person is responsible for determining the layout of video windows on display, for monitoring audio levels from the different sites and for administering related technologies that may be used in meetings, such as those used to share presentations.
