H.323/H.320 Videoconferencing

H.323/H.320 are international 'standards' for videoconferencing. H.323 is an IP based videoconferencing system, whereas H.320 is ISDN. H.320 has been in use by the education community for over 10 years, but H.323 has come more to the fore recently, due to (amongst other advantages) lower costs. H.323 systems can more easily scale to higher bandwidths and resolutions than H.320.
