TUTOR FEEDBACK

TUTOR'S GENERAL SUMMARY: Well done Kâ€Ĥ for completing this on schedule and for providing a good answer to the question. Your essay is an improvement on TMA 1 – it has a much better structure, although there is still some work to do on paragraphing. As usual you will find detailed comments on your script – on this form I will just comment on the Learning Outcomes in general terms.

Learning Outcome 1: Achieved. Its clear that you have understood the key terms and concepts in the chapter, and, importantly, you show that you are aware that there are different views about the global market.

Learning Outcome 2: Just Achieved. You use appropriate evidence from the course book to develop a clear argument. However, you don't really cover the effects of the global market until your conclusion.

Learning Outcome 3: Just Achieved. Your writing style is becoming more fluent, and you are now referencing correctly, but you need to do some further work on paragraphing and sentence construction. Well done for keeping within the word count though!

Learning Outcome 4: Just achieved. A good response to the question, although you could have mentioned more than just the issue of word count.

So, good work. Make a list of the issues from this TMA that you want to talk about at our next tutorial.

The tutor would also probably make suggestions as to how to plan the essay more effectively to include a balance of relevant material.
